Making an initial appointment with one of our therapists - by phone or online
Coming into counselling or therapy can be daunting, and we undertsand this, and so our therapists offer an intial appointment which allows you to get a sense as to whether counselling or therapy with a particular therapist might be helpful. From here the therapist will suggest you have a think about the session and make direct contact with them if you decide you would like to continue to see them. The fee for the intial appointment is the same as any further appointments you may have with them and you can see all our therapists fees on their personal profile under "Meet our Therapists". We also offer low-cost counselling from our student counsellors who are on placement from the University of Suffolk and Essex.
If you would like to make an initial appointment with one of our therapists - there are three ways of doing this;
- You can phone the centre - 01473 218541 and speak to our Therapy Services Manager, Poppy Harvey-Lee, who will be pleased to discuss with you how we can help and give you more information on the services we can offer. - Alternatively, you can email the centre on info@thestephensoncentre.com and request an appointment. Poppy Harvey-Lee, our Therapy Services Manager will respond as soon as possible.
