Arranging your first appointment can feel daunting and can take some time to build up the courage to pick up the phone or send the email and make the first step. We understand this and will support you through the process of finding a therapist who can help you.

You can look at our "Meet the Therapists" page which will tell you about our individual therapists and click on their availability to see their available appointments which you can then book; or you can click on "Make and Appointment" where you can choose from the drop down menu which type of therapy you are looking for and book an appointment that way.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to speak to our Therapy Servcies Manager, Poppy Harvey-Lee, she will discuss with you, what you are looking for and how we can help.

She is available;

Wednesday,Thursday 9:30am - 3pm

Fridays  from 9.30am to 2pm  outside of these times, you can leave her a message and she will call you back. You can also email her at This email address is being protected from spambots. We look forward to hearing from you.

feeling comfortable...

We recognise the importance of feeling comfortable and as safe as possible when coming into therapy. Without this it can feel difficult to express how we feel and the therapy can be ineffective and sometimes we just do not connect with the therapist and we may not understand why.

For this reason, we feel an initial or a first appointment is really important to ensure you feel comfortable and confident that the therapy and the therapist can be helpful. The fee for the initial appointment is the same as any further appointments you may have with that particular therapist but at the end of that first appointment, the therapist will suggest you take some time to think about the session and make direct contact with her/him to decide if you feel you would like to continue to see them - the therapist will give you their contact details to take away with you.

If you feel you would like to contact us to arrange a first appointment to see one of our counsellors or psychotherapists, then do get in touch either by phone or email or if you want to find out more about our therapists or services contact our Therapy Services Manager, Poppy Harvey-Lee, who will be happy to help.
